2) Send an email to your elected representative telling them you support opening the Alto Tunnel.

If you live outside of those two municipalities, send an email to your County Supervisor. The two relevant County Supervisors are:

You can use the following talking points:
- By opening the Alto Tunnel, we would fix the biggest gap in Marin’s North-South Greenway network, allowing seamless walking or biking between Central and Southern Marin.
- The project would connect over 8 miles of existing multiuse trails.
- Traveling over the hill between Mill Valley and Corte Madera is equivalent to climbing a 20-story building, and requires riding next to fast-moving cars.
- There is currently no ADA-accessible route between Mill Valley and Corte Madera
- The Alto Tunnel would take 2,000 cars off the road every day.
